Personal Description:
I am professional singer and teacher who specializes in teaching singing and recorder privately. I have a BMus in Music from Cardiff University and a postgraduate in acting from Central School of Speech and Drama and have been working in music performance in opera and musical theatre and as a teacher for 9 years. I teach various styles of singing: opera, musical theatre, pop, jazz and classical. I have put many pupils through exams with ABRSM, Trinity, Guildhall and LCM together with GCSE and A level Music individual study tutoring.

Tutoring Approach:
Bespoke to the pupil as each student has a different level of skill. For example, not all singing pupils can read music and so teaching must be adjusted to allow for this. I expect the student to be actively involved in choosing repertoire (that is, the songs they want to sing) and I encourage as much practice from them as possible!
