Personal Description:

I graduated from the University of Sussex in 2008 with a 2:1 BA HONS in Philosophy and English Literature. I feel I am easily qualified to teach English language and literature up to and including A level where I myself achieved an A grade. I am very eager to start a position where the rewards are couched in human educational and social development rather than simply in 'perks' or commission. I am the kind of person who can carries himself well in social environments and am good humored and enthusiastic. I like to think I transfer that to the people I work with.



Teaching Experience:

I have had experience working with children at a community center in Cornwall. This required the ability to engage young children in various arts and crafts projects. I also tutored my younger brother through GCSE English language in which he achieved an A grade.



Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is to thoroughly appraise myself of a given candidates syllabus and marking criteria beforehand and spend one on one time demonstrating how course material relates to that criteria. This enables a candidate to approach assessment with something like a formula, method or checklist which allows them to maximize their grade potential.
