Personal Description:
I am 28 years old and graduated in Graphic Design and Illustration 5 years ago with a first class honors. I have worked as a designer, illustrator and photographer in London for 3 years before going into teaching.
Teaching Experience:
I completed my teacher training at the London Institute of Education and I am now working at Friends School, Saffron Walden, teaching Art and Design at KS3 and Photography A-Level. I am experienced in teaching to national standards and meeting the Assessment Objectives of exam boards.
Tutoring Approach:
I always encourage students to reach the best of their abilities and allow them to express themselves creatively. I believe in fostering an environment that will inspire the students and help them find their individual personality and approach to the arts. I support the students at every stage of their projects and focus on helping students to develop their ideas and realise their intentions. I teach a variety of traditional techniques to underpin their learning but will often encourage use of new materials sympathetic to their ideas.
