Personal Description:
I am a trainee solicitor, who is looking to tutor evenings and/ or weekends. I have a first BA Honours degree in French and Latin from Bristol University and an LLB and LPC from Nottingham Law School. I have three A-Levels in English, French & Latin and 10 GCSEs.
Teaching Experience:
I am currently tutoring a year 10 student in English Language and Literature and Science. I have been tutoring on a part-time basis for the last 3 years and have tutored all ages between 11 and 16. I have also done volunteer teaching for a Summer Literacy School at a school in Stamford, Lincs.
Tutoring Approach:
I am very flexible, depending on the needs of the student. I currently give my tutee additional help on the subjects she struggles with in lessons. So, for example, she is currently studying "Heroes" and we are reading and analysing this together and then undertaking exercises/ essays to help her understand the text more fully. We also do grammar and spelling work.
