Personal Description:
I am an experienced, outstanding secondary Business Studies and ICT teacher and Head of Department and have been employed in a variety of local schools.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught in secondary schools in Kent for the last six years. I taught for four years in a highly-regarded grammar school, before moving on to a very successful and popular comprehensive school.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to teaching is fun and lively, and I like to bring real-life examples into the classroom or tutoring situation. Learning games are a key part of my approach and I try to identify the preferred learning style of each child before adapting a learning package to meet their needs. I have several years' experience of examining Business and ICT subjects up to A-level and have worked as a Maths, English and 11+ personal tutor for children between the ages of 7 and 14.
