Tutoring Approach:
As a tutor, I try to be flexible in my approach to adapt to my students' needs. Most of the time I try to be as clear as possible in the explanation of the grammar so it serves a purpose communicatively. Therefore, I put an emphasis on grammar and communicative practice, both related to one another.

I have 7 years experience working as a Spanish teacher in secondary schools in London including Alleyn's, Lady Margaret School and Kingsdale, teaching years 7 to 13. My exam classes have a very good track record. This year, my year 11 class are predicted 58% grades 9 to 8 and 100% 9 to 6, and my A Level class 63% A*-A and 88% A*-B. I have worked with both Edexcel and AQA in this time, so I know what it takes to get the best grades, especially at GCSE. I am a PhD mathematician, with a special interest in applied mathematics and statistics. I worked for some years in University departments as a tutor and then lecturer. More recently I have worked for almost two decades in industry as a mathematician at a prestigious research centre in Cambridge. I am familiar with many aspects of secondary education through my children who both completed their A levels at Hills Road 6th form college. My son has just begun reading Economics at London School of Economics while my daughter obtained a first class honours degree from Oriel College Oxford.

Tutoring Approach:
The details of the correct approach vary from one tutee to another, but the principles remain the same. I seek to establish the student's ability within the context of a given aim and to then set realistic objectives.
I think that most students have more mathematical ability than they themselves believe; this can be brought out in a positive fashion once negative stereotypes are discarded. Also the application of mathematics to the real world can be exciting and profitable.

French native, Christine teaches French since 2005. Christine has studied French literature, music and drama to obtain her Baccahalaurat. In Sept 2011 she obtained a Trinity Guildhall Music diploma for teaching singing. Now she is part time Singing teacher and a Performer.

In the past I have helped out with some younger classes at my secondary school when they needed some assistance in some of the classes. I believe in a structured hour of work where the pupil is thoroughly engaged throughout the session. I think that there is a lot of importance in learning 'discovery' which is where the pupil is not spoon-fed information, but rather encouraged to try and work out patterns in the language e.g. grammar. Obviously if the pupil gets stuck I will help them. I also think grammar is an important part of learning Spanish language due to all of the verb conjugations and gender agreements etc. Homework is also important as doing a little each day is definitely one of the best ways to learn.

Regarding my teaching experience, I have at least 2 years teaching Spanish in different public and private institutions around the world.

I began teaching Spanish as a volunteer in my university on 2015. I have always had a great interest in different cultures and languages. I really admire people who travel and work around the world, so in 2015-2016 I decided to teach Spanish voluntarily during the whole course (9 months) to those international people who came as an Erasmus to my University. I felt really comfortable helping them improving their Spanish while I was learning a lot from them too.

After this academic course, I made my luggage and I went to the USA for the whole summer. I was motivated and interested in the American lifestyle, so I decided to try my best three months working at Morey´s Piers as a chef while I was working as a native Spanish teacher in my second job at the Christian academy for 3 months in New Jersey.

As soon as I finished my stay in the USA, I came back to Poland where I continued my last year of university through a bilateral international agreement at the Poznan University of Medical Sciences. I was studying while I was working in 2 different institutions as a native Spanish teacher. On the one hand, I was working as a tenured Spanish native teacher at the "IBERIS online academy" for one year. On the second hand, I was working as support Spanish native teacher at the "Gniezno Institute" during the same academical year.

In conclusión, the last 2 years from 2015 I have been working as a native Spanish teacher in 4 different places, at the University in Spain, at Christian´s academy in the USA, at IBERIS online academy and Gniezno institute (Poland). And right now, I am working privately in Scotland.

We (me and my partner) provide private Islamic and Arabic tuition online as well as at home. Both of us are fully qualified Islamic scholars and have extensive experience. The Initial assessment is offered free of charge and afterwards you are free to make an informed decision either way. The tuition fee is normally around £15 per hour online and £20 on site.

I tutor using multiple teaching methods, however my experience has taught me there is no one method worthy of being championed, rather the best method is always what a particular student finds effective.
I am a great believer in stimulating forms of education and I constantly challenge a student's understanding of a particular topic.
I have always found that asking students to repeat everything they have leant at the end of the lesson helps them to consolidate their knowledge.

I am living in another country at the moment, and I can teach online only.

I finished my PhD at the University of Reading and my masters at the University of Bristol. I am from Turkey but I have lived in the UK around 8 years. I have done supply teaching for approximately two years. In addition, I did a degree in Turkey which is equivalent to the PGCE degree of the UK Higher Education System.

Teaching Experience:
-I have been actively teaching Mathematics to master and undergraduate students during the term times in the last 4 years at the University of Reading.
-I have had many A-level and GCSE-level students in past 4 years. I have been privately teaching Maths for the last 10 years.
-I have 3 years teaching experience in private schools in Turkey, before I moved to the UK.

Student-centered teaching is my main approach. The key factor is promoting independent thinking and making a student willingly participate the lesson. Since I was a young student, I have been extremely passionate about Italian History, Philology, Culture and Traditions. I'm currently working at Parliamentary Groups of Sicilian Parliament (ARS) where, since 1993, I've been performing a proofreader role of legislative texts.
Considering the nature of my job, I have always had a keen interest in the Italian language, focusing on the linguistic structures in order to perform high skill levels in spoken and written Italian.
I'm also cooperating with various authors as a translator of books.

I'm a friendly tutor who's a science enthusiast with a Master's degree in Mathematics, good knowledge on Physics. I'm doing my second Master's in theoretical Astrophysics at the University of Sussex now. I do art & I'm also a player of South Indian martial art called "Silambam". And I'm practicing yoga for the past 6 months.

Over the course of time, I have tutored school students who were in need of help with their academics. I do arts and have taught that to kids. I've also been practising self defence for over a period of 9 years.

Since I worked in the field of Instructional Technologies for 4 years in undergraduate education, I specialized in managing the learning and teaching process in a student-centered manner. In 2021, I still continue to be the founding trainer of a company, which provides consultancy and software training in the field of IT.
I summarize my approach to education and teaching philosophy with this sentence: I change my teaching way if a child can't learn. Apart from my IT expertise, I have 16 years of teaching experience in the field of dance teaching. I also have expertise in Creative Movement and Dance Therapy, where I am still working in various dance schools and organizations in London.
