About Chris:
I am 23 years old and have spent the summer as an exam invigilator at Queen's Park High School Chester. I am looking at going into teching next year and I feel that one-on-one tuition will give me a valuable insight and help to prepare me well for the world of teaching.

Teaching Experience:
I have three younger brothers and have helped (and still do) them to achieve their full potential in examinations. I have helped them to pass the 11-plus exam and achieve entry to Wirral Grammar School for Boys. I have also helped two of them with their G.C.S.E's and am currently helping Mark in preparing his final year dissertation.

Tutoring Approach:
I aim to create a blanace between a relaxed working environment and a studious approach. I believe that is vital to help the student understand the concepts and methods of how to prepare and sit examinations rather than simply presenting them with fact and figures. My aim is not just to provide students with the specific information needed for an exam but to provide them with the skills needed for sitting any academic exams.

I am a 19 year old student and I am currently in my 2nd year of studying medicine at King's College London. I am a keen sportsman and I play for my university's football team. I also enjoy tennis, swimming and going to the gym. I am a person who knows the value of education, which is why I always encourage others to take their studies seriously. I take great satisfaction everytime I help my fellow students with their studies.

Teaching Experience:
Before going to university, I voluntarily tutored year 9 and GCSE students at school. I found this very enjoyable as I felt I was making a difference in other people's education.

I am currently mentoring year 1 medical students who are unfamiliar with university education.

Tutoring Approach:
Having been taught by excellent teachers, I will use many of their techniques in my tutoring approach. Having recently been through most of these exams myself, I will know the strategies that will help my tutees feel confident about answering exam questions.

I am also a very patient person, which is a very useful attribute since some students can take a while to understand certain concepts.

I am a post-graduate student preparing for a DPhil in International Relations. I graduated first in my class from a prestigious university in the US as an undergraduate. Right now I am attending SOAS.

During my time as an undergraduate, I tutored many kids at the middle school level that were attending some of the best prep schools in the US. I have also taught undergraduate courses and have been a ESL teacher of English, and writing teacher in labs.
