Personal Description:

I am a friendly, patient and dedicated tutor with a background in primary school teaching and a genuine passion for helping children learn and grow. I have a Master's degree in Textiles and previous teaching experience in international schools in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. I enjoy making learning enjoyable, building children's confidence and helping them develop a positive attitude towards their education.

I believe every child has their own strengths and learning pace. My aim is to create a supportive environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, expressing themselves and learning from their mistakes. I am enthusiastic about helping young learners develop essential skills in English, Maths and Science.

Teaching Experience:

I have experience teaching primary school children as a Grade 1 Homeroom Teacher and supporting children with additional learning needs, including SEN. My responsibilities included lesson planning, preparing engaging classroom activities, explaining concepts, assessing pupils' progress, marking work and communicating with parents about their children's development.

I have taught foundational English, Maths and Science and used creative activities, demonstrations, storytelling and role-play to make lessons more interesting and accessible. I have also supported children who needed extra guidance, adapting my approach to their individual needs and abilities.

My experience has taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, clear communication and consistent support in helping children achieve their learning goals.

Tutoring Approach:

My tutoring approach is friendly, interactive and tailored to each child's needs. I begin by understanding the student's current level, strengths, challenges and learning goals. I then plan lessons that are engaging, structured and appropriate for their age and ability.

I use simple explanations, practical examples, questions, games and activities to help children understand concepts rather than simply memorise information. In English, I can support vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing and speaking. In Maths and Science, I focus on building strong foundations through step-by-step explanations and real-life examples.

I encourage students to participate actively, ask questions and learn at their own pace. I provide constructive feedback, celebrate progress and revisit topics when necessary to strengthen understanding.

My ultimate goal is to help every student become a more confident, independent and motivated learner while making each lesson enjoyable and productive.
