Personal Description:
I'm a friendly and approachable tutor with around 1.5 years of experience supporting pupils in primary and online school settings. I've worked with students from Years 1-4 as well as providing one-to-one support. I have an A-level in Biology, GCSEs including Maths and English, and two years of university study in Mechanical Engineering.
Teaching Experience:
I have around 1.5 years of experience supporting pupils in primary and online school settings. My experience includes one-to-one and small-group academic support, helping students with classwork, assessments and learning activities. I've also supported pupils with different learning needs and worked closely with teachers to help students stay engaged and make progress.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to keep lessons relaxed, clear and focused on the student. I break difficult topics into manageable steps, encourage questions and give students the support they need to work things out for themselves. My aim is to help students improve while building their confidence.
