Personal Description:

Hello! I am a private tutor and Mandarin-English translator with 4 and 3 years experience respectively in these
roles. This is backed by my academic achievements, summarised with my IB44, 9 GCSE Grade 9s (with
238/240 in Maths) and various Olympiad awards. Please see the details of my experience and academic
records below!



Teaching Experience:

I began my work as a private tutor teaching online in both Mandarin and English, with most of my students
being based in China, and looking to study in the UK/US.
Having studied and achieved the highest grades in the subjects I teach, I not only offer my students
the knowledge necessary for their exams, but also my own study and exam techniques for each course,
which I pass on to my students, adapting these according to their own way of thinking.

• GCSE (Maths, triple and combined Chemistry and Physics, English Language, French, Chinese Mandarin)

Tutoring Approach:

I deliver personalised lessons tailored to the needs of each student. Essentially, every lesson is a blend of conceptual knowledge, practice questions and exam techniques, balanced out for maximal effect.
