Personal Description:

I am a very caring, friendly, experienced and patient tutor and teacher who loves seeing progress in pupils. I have over twenty years of experience teaching in schools and privately in the UK and abroad. Throughout the last ten years, I have had the opportunity to also host and teach international pupils in my own home, which has been very enjoyable. I enjoy walks in the countryside, reading, visiting places of interest, going to the theatre, and swimming. I firmly believe that one-to-one tuition by a highly experienced tutor can immensely help students, whether they are struggling or not. I have additional qualifications which I believe are beneficial to teaching. These are counselling certificates, TESOL, safeguarding children certificates, Trauma Informed Certification, SCIP and prevent awareness training. I update my training regularly and have regular observations with the language schools I work with.



Teaching Experience:

Teaching pupils in a Referral Unit, Primary Schools, International Language Schools and Secondary Schools Aes 4-Adult



Tutoring Approach:

I like to develop a good relationship with my pupils first. This is created with an assessment of their needs first then we will work together based on what those needs are. All pupils are treated as an individual.
