Personal Description:

I have been teaching English for over 15 years and, during this time, I have developed a teaching style that is relaxed, supportive and tailored to the individual needs of each student. My students often describe me as kind and encouraging, and I take pride in creating a safe and comfortable learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and make mistakes.

I am particularly passionate about bringing out the best in quieter or less confident students, helping them to feel comfortable expressing themselves and recognising their own abilities. I believe that building a positive relationship and creating a supportive atmosphere is key to helping students develop both their skills and their confidence.

As I have been teaching English for over 15 years and feel I have developed a method of teaching students in a relaxed yet supportive way. My goal is for my students to feel comfortable to ask questions and make mistakes- that is where the learning begins!
I feel it is important to set goals at the start of a course as this creates a roadmap for achievement.
