Personal Description:
My name is Jessica and I am from Glasgow. I am a professional and experienced ESOL tutor who can help you to improve your general English skills. I can also help with exam preparation (SQA levels, IELTS, TOEIC). I am a graduate from the University of Glasgow and am CELTA certified.
Teaching Experience:
I am an experienced ESOL teacher who has been teaching for over 12 years. I have taught English both in Glasgow and abroad (Spain, France and Vietnam) to students ranging from Beginner to Advanced level. As a previous IELTS speaking examiner I am able to effectively help students to prepare for this exam.
Tutoring Approach:
All my lessons take a student-centred approach, maximising the time each student has to practise and develop their language skills during the lesson. I like to create a positive and warm atmosphere in class and choose engaging and interesting material. I will listen to your specific language goals and will develop lessons which will allow you to achieve them.
