Personal Description:
Hi, I'm Karen, an online mathematics tutor based in Northern Ireland. I hold a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and am currently completing a Mathematics degree with The Open University.
My background has given me extensive experience applying mathematics to real-world problems, and I enjoy helping students build confidence and develop a clear understanding of mathematical concepts. Whether you need support with exam preparation, homework, or strengthening your core skills, I aim to create a friendly and supportive learning environment tailored to your individual needs.
Teaching Experience:
I recently completed tutoring experience with Action Tutoring, supporting students in developing their mathematical understanding and strengthening essential numeracy skills. Through one-to-one and small-group sessions, I helped students build confidence, improve problem-solving abilities, and prepare for their academic goals in a supportive learning environment.
