Personal Description:
Hola, I'm a native Spanish tutor with a passion for helping students gain confidence and achieve real success in the language.
I currently work as Head of Modern Foreign Languages at an independent school in London, where I lead the Spanish curriculum and support students across all levels.
Teaching Experience:
Alongside my leadership role, I have extensive experience as a private tutor, working with learners from primary level through to GCSE and A-level, as well as IB (Cambridge).
I am highly familiar with the main UK exam boards, including AQA and Edexcel, which allows me to tailor lessons to meet specific exam requirements and help students maximise their results. I also work as an official examiner for the Instituto Cervantes, giving me valuable insight into assessment criteria and what examiners are really looking for.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach is student-centred, structured and supportive. I tailor each lesson to the individual, focusing on building confidence while developing all key skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
For exam students (GCSE, A-level and IB), I provide targeted preparation based on AQA, Edexcel and Cambridge requirements, with a strong focus on exam technique and achieving top results.
As an experienced teacher and examiner, I combine clear guidance with engaging, relevant content to ensure steady progress and enjoyable lessons.
