Personal Description:

Highly Qualified Italian & French Tutor.
I am an Italian native speaker with a First Class Master's Degree in Languages and Literatures (English and French). I have lived in the UK for 22 years.
I offer professional & bespoke Italian and French tuition classes, both for adults and children (including GCSE's and A levels).

I graduated from the Universita' degli Studi di Bergamo (Italy), in 2005 with a First Class in Languages and Literatures (English and French). Following my graduation, I started a two year Master's Degree (First Class) in the same subject. I studied at the University of Reading (UK) for the first year, and then at Universita' degli Studi di Bergamo (Italy) during the second year.
I then took a Master's Degree (First Class) in International Business and Consulting at the University of Reading (UK).
I have been teaching Italian and French to English students for the past 9 years.

Teaching Experience:

I gave English tutoring lessons to Italian school students while I was at university in Italy. I moved to the UK in 2004, where I have been teaching Italian and French for the past 9 years. I teach private as well as group lessons, both to adults and children. I have also taught French in a primary school as a cover teacher in 2019.

Tutoring Approach:

My lessons are based on a balance between grammar, exercises, reading, speaking and some games at the end, when attention starts to fade.
I adapt the level and depth of grammar to the learning style of each student, as some students thrive from a more grammar based or a more practice based approach.
I provide all material, such as grammar rules and exercises, reading comprehensions, translations and homework.
I usually send students some homework to do in between classes, but I apply no pressure.
I adapt my teaching to individual requirements and always try to add an element of fun to my lessons, I think that's important!
I want to keep any pressure or anxiety out of my lessons, by creating a welcoming atmosphere where students can be themselves.

• First Class Master's Degree in International Management and Consulting
• First Class Bachelor's Degree in Languages and Literatures (English and French)
