Personal Description:

I am an enthusiastic physics and maths specialis. I am both a qualified science teacher and Aerospace engineer. So I am especially able to help those interested in pursuing a career in STEM.

Teaching Experience:

2 years as a science teacher specialising in GCSE physics, A levels physics. Maths for science and GCSE to A level transition.
GCSE and AS level maths I have had many private tutees over the last 5 years.

Tutoring Approach:

I prefer to determine the goals of the tutee, baseline their attainment and then focus on areas where the tutee may need more support. In order to make the most efficient use of the time.
Tutee feedback is used to inform the sessions. For example if there a significant gap, I am able to teach the content if required.

Qualifications:

• Poas graduate certificate in education for secondary science
• Aerospace Engineering bachelor's degree with honours
