I am a passionate and dedicated educator with a strong background in social sciences, committed to making complex ideas accessible and engaging for students. With a First-Class Honours degree in Social Anthropology from a Russell Group university, Qualified Teacher Status, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (passed with distinction) specialising in Sociology and Psychology, I bring both academic rigor and a deep enthusiasm for the subjects I teach.

With over a decade of experience in education, I have had the privilege of working with students across diverse learning environments, tailoring my approach to meet individual needs and foster academic growth.
For 10 years, I worked as a teaching assistant in a private specialist provision, supporting young people with a range of complex needs. This role allowed me to develop a deep understanding of differentiated learning strategies, adaptive teaching methods, and the importance of creating an inclusive and supportive educational space. Working closely with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams, I honed my ability to navigate challenges with patience, empathy, and professionalism, ensuring that every learner felt empowered in their educational journey.
In the past 3 years, I transitioned into mainstream settings, specialising in GCSE and A-Level Psychology and Sociology under both Edexcel and AQA specifications. I am an experienced and approachable tutor with a strong subject specialism in Psychology and Sociology, dedicated to helping students maximise their academic potential. In my current role at a high-performance secondary sixth form, I facilitate targeted intervention sessions, supporting students in attaining higher grades by refining their understanding of complex topics and exam techniques.
