Personal Description:

Hi there,
I'm Millie and I am a qualified English teacher offering tutoring. I am based in Gloucestershire and will tutor one-to-one with your child at your home or offer online tutoring. I can help with revision sessions for upcoming GCSE and A Level exams. I can also take on students in any year of secondary school who would like extra help with their English or to expand their knowledge.

I would also love to work with any homeschool students who would like to nurture a love of literature or who would like to develop their skills. We would work together to come up with a dedicated, project-based plan for their English education.

I am fully insured and have an enhanced DBS check.

Tutoring Approach:

I take a coaching approach to tutoring alongside my academic expertise to ensure that students are supported to meet their goals. We will work through any topics that the student is struggling with as well as giving them an opportunity to develop enthusiasm for the subject. I love to use mindfulness techniques alongside teaching to help students achieve their potential.

I am very student-led so my approach will change depending on what my students need. I have a track record of helping students to achieve excellent exam results.
