Personal Description:

I am a 45 year old Primary School teacher living and teaching in the North Lanarkshire Area. I have a degree in Primary Teaching, and have taught in a wide variety of schools over the last 24 years. I have experience working in Private, Mainstream and Special Education. I can teach a variety of subjects in the 5 - 14 age bracket. I have a current PVG to work with children.

Teaching Experience:

I am a fully qualified and GTCS registered primary teacher of twenty four years. I have considerable experience working across all stages of the primary curriculum, in recent years in Primary 6 and 7.

I have worked Overseas, In mainstream schools and in Special Education. I currently hold a post of Principal Teacher in North Lanarkshire. I have experience of working with children with a range of additional support needs in the classroom and 1-1.

Tutoring Approach:

As a private tutor I aim to give your child an enjoyable and interactive learning experience. Working in a one to one situation will ensure your child will receive the extra attention and support that may not be possible in the classroom setting. I will assess and plan lessons carefully to meet the needs of each individual pupil. I will use a variety of resources to engage your child in his/her learning.
