Personal Description:
An enthusiastic communicator that enjoys helping others develop their skills and achieve their goals.
Teaching Experience:
I am currently the Head of Physics at a large secondary school in Carmarthenshire.
During my career I have taught all the sciences` to GCSE level and physics to A level. I have also been involved in the moderation of coursework and exams for these subjects.
I also have some experience of teaching GCSE electronics and GCSE maths as well as successfully tutoring students through their GCSE maths exams at both higher, intermediate and foundation tier.
With my science teaching background I can confidently tutor all sciences` to GCSE level and physics to A level.
As a GCSE examiner for the WJEC I have a good insight into the way exams are set and marked and can use this experience to help students get the best possible grades.
Tutoring Approach:
Tailoring lessons to the students needs and looking for ways to make the topics relevant and easy to understand. Rigorous practice and demonstration of exam techniques also allow students to get top grades.
