Personal Description:
I am a 4th year student at the University of St Andrews. My degree is BSc Financial Economics and Mathematics. I have graduated CBSE class 12th with 97% in mathematics and 98% in economics. I have scored 800/800 in SAT mathematics, as well as 5/5 in AP macroeconomics and 4/5 in AP microeconomics. I have received a letter of excellence from the maths department in the University of St Andrews in my first year and have placed in the Dean's list for the first two years of university.
Teaching Experience:
I have tutored my siblings as well as friends across high school in mathematics, economics, and accountancy (CBSE).
Tutoring Approach:
I aim to teach students how to approach problems instead of memorising solutions. This helps instill confidence when solving unfamiliar problems. I also give easy ways to memorise complex formulae and definitions as required. I am flexible and can alter my methods according to how my students learn best.
