Personal Description:
Hi, I'm Nick from London, England. I am a qualified teacher with vast experience teaching Maths & Chemistry to students of various levels. I have a Master's in Chemical Engineering from University College London, so I have an advanced understanding of both pure and applied Mathematics & Chemistry.
Last year I took a career break to travel to Canada, South Africa and across South America! My passions are the outdoors and sports, including hiking, skiing, running and football. I like meeting people from other countries to find out more about their background & culture, and to make friends across the world. I am learning Spanish in my spare time.
Teaching Experience:
I have many years of experience teaching Maths & Chemistry. I'm a qualified teacher and my teaching course consisted of learning various teaching methodologies, practices, and observations.
Tutoring Approach:
I'm a patient and supportive tutor who welcomes students mistakes to allow for improvement. I adjust my methods according to students' needs and goals. I like to demonstrate to students my way of thinking when solving problems and keep methods simple so students can understand, follow and incorporate these techniques easily when solving problems for themselves.
