Personal Description:
Hi, my name is Amarveer and I am currently a Bsc Financial Economics student at The University of Essex. I have completed my schooling from India. I have obtained 91% in my 12th standard examination (with a 93/100 in Math), which is equivalent to AAA in A-levels. I completed my 12th standard with the subjects- Math, Physics, Chemistry, English and Computer Science. I have an interest in financial markets. Currently, my modules include Economic History, Economics, Calculus and Quantitative Economics.
Teaching Experience:
I have a keen interest in sharing my knowledge and therefore, I actively participated in my school outreach programmes where we used to teach the underprivileged children of the society. Also, I used to tutor a 15 year old student from my school in maths and science who used to live in my neighbourhood.
Tutoring Approach:
I always believe that teaching should be done in a way in which the child doesn't get pressurised. Hence, I always like to put the syllabus in such a way that the student gets to learn and memorise in a way that he doesn't feel stuck when he practices his questions alone. Practice Tests are a good way to boost a student's confidence and at the same time make him realise the area of his subject in which he lacks practice. Therefore, using these methods one can enhance his/her performance.
