Personal Description:
I am currently a student reading for my Masters in Psychology at Kingston University, London.
Teaching Experience:
Having completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree, I immediately started my first job as a teacher of Advanced Level Psychology for the Pearson Edexcel specification in the year 2013. Since then I have served as subject teacher of psychology, form class teacher and as the Assistant Head of Sixth Form - assisting sixth form students in different aspects of mentoring and tutoring roles. I have 9 years of experience teaching Psychology in leading international schools, particularly for GCSE and Advanced Level classes for the Pearson Edexcel specification. During this time I also completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) teaching qualification in July 2017 to further enhance my role as a teacher. Furthermore, I have experience in giving one on one tutoring and intervention programs to support students in developing the necessary skills to face external Edexcel examinations. I have experiencing in one-on-one private tutoring and group instruction too apart from school teaching.
Tutoring Approach:
I am a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated educator who wants all children to be successful learners. As a result I have the aptitude to remain flexible, ensuring that every child's learning styles and abilities are addressed. In my previous work, I have demonstrated the ability to consistently individualize instruction, based on student's needs and interests. I am also committed to professional ethics, standards of practice in dealing with students and young children.
