Personal Description:

Cześć! My name is Marta and I am a professional language teacher offering personalised and practical Polish courses. I am passionate about Polish language and culture, but Polish is not the only language I'm interested in. I also speak fluent English, Spanish and French and I know basic German, Norwegian and Vietnamese. Believe me, I know what it takes to learn and master a foreign language! I know how challenging it might be at times, but I am also convinced that it is incredibly rewarding. Having studied many languages myself, I have developed effective and enjoyable methods of learning and I use them every day in my teaching.

Teaching Experience:

I have been a language teacher for seven years, teaching students of all ages, levels and nationalities. I am also the founder of Polacademy - an online Polish language school.

Tutoring Approach:

• Speak Polish from the first lesson!
Even if you're a complete beginner, I will make sure that you speak as much Polish as possible from the very beginning. My classes are mostly in Polish - you'll be surprised at how much you can understand through our interactions! You will quickly be able to use common phrases and handle basic conversations. It may seem a bit challenging at first, but I guarantee you'll see progress really fast! So don't worry! I will always work at your level and I will speak your language or English to help you every step of the way.
• Friendly atmosphere
I believe that the most important thing in a process of learning anything is a friendly environment where you can enjoy the process of learning and feel comfortable to make mistakes.
• Engaging activities and interesting materials
I use a variety of materials: coursebooks, videos, podcasts and my own materials to make learning interesting and fun.

• Teaching Polish as a Foreign Language at a Pedagogical University of Cracow (Nauczanie Języka Polskiego jako Obcego i Drugiego, Uniwersytet Pedagogiczny w Krakowie) 2021-2022
• BA African Studies and Politics, SOAS, University of London (2011 - 2014)
