Personal Description:

I'm a mother of two small girls, who is passionate about languages and seeing others learn them. I also enjoy road cycling, walking, travelling and spending precious time with my family.

Teaching Experience:

I have a BA (Hons) in French and Secondary level PGCE in French and German. I'm passionate about teaching and have been qualified since 2005 and taught abroad prior to this.


My first teaching job was at Burnham Grammar School, where I taught French to KS5 and German to KS4.

I have been HOD at Durston House Prep School, a top prep school in London as well as Brockhurst and St. Edward's prep schools in West Berkshire and Berkshire.

I have been doing online tutoring since the pandemic started and also teach very part-time in a prep school.

Tutoring Approach:

I ensure lessons cover each of the four skills; listening, speaking, reading and writing. They also include a variety of tasks to keep things interesting. I ensure that they are tailored to suit each individual's needs and fill any gaps in learning.

I'm personable, approachable and really care about pupils' progress.
