Personal Description:

I am a qualified English teacher with over 15 years experience of teaching within the classroom and also several years experience of tutoring. I am passionate about my subject and like to think my love for it shines through to my pupils. I take a holistic approach to teaching, ensuring each lesson is carefully planned with the individual in mind. I am patient, engaging and aim to add a creative flair to every lesson.



Teaching Experience:

I have over 15 years experience of teaching in UK schools, from KS1-KS5. I have been Head of English in an independent school and also took responsibility for pastoral care. In my last role I was Associate Headteacher. As a tutor I have worked with pupil on both a one to one basis and in a small group. I have worked with pupils that are being home educated, flexi-schooled, have additional needs, are looking for extra help alongside mainstream school and many other situations.



Tutoring Approach:

I take a holistic approach to tutoring, carefully planning each lesson to the individual. I offer a free consultation before you commit so I can ensure your needs are fully met during our sessions. Please note I currently offer online sessions only.
