Personal Description:

I am a passionate A level further maths student who is keen on supporting others pursuing the same subject area to accelerate their learning. I have a very analytical and calculative mind with a knack for numbers as demonstrated from previous attainments; a grade 9 in GCSE Maths, and A* in A-Level Maths, as well as excelling at numerous maths competitions (such as Intermediate and Senior maths challenges). I have achieved an A* in the Advanced Maths Problem Solving held by Leicester University.
In addition to my numerical skills, I am a Cricket enthusiast/sportsman and guitarist, which has taught me to reach further levels of concentration when solving complex mathematical problems.
Furthermore, I am a current offer holder for Aerospace Engineering, at the University of Bath, which will be a great application of my current skills

Teaching Experience:

My inclination towards tutoring stems from the joy of mentoring my younger sister who came home smiling with a grade 8 at GCSE in Maths.
This further encouraged me to pursue the Maths Mentoring programme at College that seeks to develop and maximise the potential of young talent by guiding them through the simplest to their most complicated queries. A great accomplishment from this was enabling a student to explore his own potential and withdraw from self-doubt. This was enabled by not spoon-feeding the answers, but methodically breaking down questions by effectively coaching him through and making him think for himself whilst only being a guide

Tutoring Approach:

Highly adaptive nature depending on the students learning style and tutoring needs.
Prepared to make the student think about a problem from different angles and try their best to reach an answer before revealing it if needed.
Patient and am willing to consistently work on a numerical problem till the student has grasped the concept and can apply it to various problems.
