Personal Description:
Hi! My name is Graeme and I am starting at the University of St Andrews in September 2022 to study Chemistry with French. I would love to provide some support to students who are sitting the exams that I myself sat not so long ago.
Teaching Experience:
I have been involved in organising and providing help in a peer tutoring service offered by my secondary school. In addition to this, I have volunteered in various classes around my school to provide extra teaching support.
Tutoring Approach:
My teaching approach is student-focused. I will encourage students to work on topics requiring reinforcement by: re-explaining concepts in a peer-peer, friendly manner; completing past paper questions, providing support where necessary while also allowing for independent completion to build confidence; providing advice on exam strategy and how to tackle course content and studying.
