Personal Description:

Accountancy student at University of Nottingham. A levels - took 4 subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Psychology and achieved AAAB. GCSEs - took higher level exams at a grammar school. Have refined my revision and learning techniques over the years and looking to help others do the same and support them to reach the grades they want to achieve.

Teaching Experience:

Have tutored other children successfully, all of which accomplished their goals with my help. Can assist in developing knowledge, learning, revision and exam skills. I myself was tutored when I was younger so know from first hand experience what techniques are helpful. recently finished studying A levels in biology, chemistry, maths and psychology. In psychology have learnt about memory in detail and have hints and knowledge I can now apply to help students learn content effectively along with knowledge from my own experience studying GCSEs. I am also currently studying a Maths Mates course where you learn to teach kids younger than yourself, learn about learning disabilities and take safeguarding courses which will then qualify me to help teach in schools.

Tutoring Approach:

Supportive and catered tutoring to meet each students individual learning style. Looking to help students reach their full potential with my help and teach them the techniques they will need to sustain this later in life so they can flourish independently. Committed to helping students to have a great understanding of content required and learn exam skills necessary to be able to then use this information gained to reach their academic targets. Aim to build students confidence as I acknowledge this is important in being successful as self belief is key - makes goals seem attainable and realistic therefore providing motivation.
