Personal Description:

I am a private maths tutor based in Glasgow. I achieved grades A*AA in my Maths, Further Maths and Physics A-levels. (GCSE and A-level are the English equivalent of National 5 and Higher/Advanced Higher.) I was also heavily involved in maths competitions in high school, achieving a gold certificate in the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge and a bronze medal in round 1 of the British Maths Olympiad, meaning I placed in the top 100 nationally. I also have a Distinction in AEA Maths.

I am currently offering lessons in all secondary school maths, up to and including GCSE/National 5. I offer lessons both online and in-person near Ruchill, Glasgow.

My lessons usually consist of the student telling me what they are having trouble with, followed by me explaining in detail. However, as my approach is flexible, we can end up doing anything from past papers to covering topics from scratch, depending on the student's preference.

I have an enhanced DBS certificate which is available upon request.
