Personal Description:
I have always been passionate about Psychology. I am fascinated by human behaviour and my goal during my academic journey was to learn more. I developed my understanding of theories, research and experiments during my Bachelors in Psychology with Education. Moreover, I expanded my knowledge of mental health, mental disorders and psychological therapies during my Masters in Mental Health: Psychological Therapies. I wholeheartedly believe in the importance of psychology and well-being and I am enthusiastic about sharing it with others. Also, I am an easy-going individual and I love meeting new people. That is why I enjoy teaching and tutoring Psychology.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching Psychology for two years now. My lessons have been mostly based on the IB DP curriculum, however I am confident in GCSE, A Levels and degree syllabus. Additionally, during my Bachelors in Psychology with Education, apart from developing my understanding of psychological theories, I had the opportunity to enhance my knowledge of education and teaching.
Tutoring Approach:
My teaching style is person-centred. I pay attention to each student's individual needs and I construct the lesson accordingly. I first focus on the specific academic goals that students want to reach. Once these are clear and thoroughly discussed, each lesson aims to help the student meet these goals. My lessons are based on a productive, encouraging, determined and warm educational environment.
