Personal Description:
I am a very well qualified and highly experienced senior teacher of mathematics with a successful track record of improving student's confidence and results above their predicted grades. Now in my 30th year if teaching I have enormous experience across all stages of secondary education. Being a current teacher allows me access to the most up to date resources to prepare any child for what may be ahead. In addition to being a teacher of mathematics I am also the Safeguarding Lead at my school where much of my pastoral work involves working with students who have struggled to cope during the pandemic.
I have experience of successfully tutoring pupils from private, grammar and state schools including Waldegrave School, Tiffin Girls, The Oratory School, Hampton School and Lady Eleanor Hollis, amongst others. I have a kind and approachable style which combined with my vast knowledge of the subject and exam content, enables me to deliver the best possible results. My tutoring has allowed students to access their chosen courses via successful GCSE and A Level results. Many of my past students have gone on to study Mathematics based subjects, medicine and dentistry at degree level.
