Personal Description:

I am patient, thorough and an excellent time-keeper.



Teaching Experience:

My teaching experience has been gained over approximately 35 years: working with secondary school pupils and adults. Some of these learners presented with special educational needs.
I have current experience of teaching pupils on a 1-1 and small group basis in order to improve their maths. grade.



Tutoring Approach:

I enjoy helping people and making a worthwhile contribution to their education, employment prospects and quality of life. My teaching philosophy is to try to spark interest in learners whilst retaining a clear goal: whether that be exam. success or a sense of personal achievement. I try to help my pupils to achieve their potential by using interesting activities when possible but I do keep in mind that, they will be faced with assessments / exams. which may significantly affect their future.
