Personal Description:
I am a 2nd Year Student of Biochemistry Integrated Masters at the University of York.
Before this I went to Magdalen College School Oxford, where I studied Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths.
I am very passionate about Maths and Biochemistry, I also love teaching, I hope to work as a teacher when I am older so I can get paid just to talk about Science all day!
I hope I can provide an enjoyable and productive tutoring experience to any pupil
Teaching Experience:
6 Weeks full-time Teaching assistant at St Barnabus school Oxford 11-14 year olds - Maths and Science
1 Year, 4 hours per week Teaching assistant at St Nicolas School Oxford 4-10 year olds - Maths and Reading
6 weeks full time Laboratory Assistant at Sir William Dunn School of Pathology Oxford Uni - Molecular Biology
Tutoring Approach:
I like to base teaching on co-operative problem solving. I think students can learn to memorise facts and figures best on their own time, so as a tutor I find going over problems together and being able to answer any questions they have as the most helpful
