Personal Description:
I am passionate about mathematics and logic since I was in year 2. I have consistently scored highest grades in my math exams all through my education. I later earned a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and went on to a corporate job with multinationals.
I have taught mathematics to my child who cleared 11+ with very high scores getting through all the grammar school exams she sat through. I have done quite a bit of charity education helping needy kids learning mathematics
I have been tutoring Primary school children, 11+ (eleven plus) and secondary school year children (including GCSEs).
Teaching Experience:
I have 4 + years of tutoring experience at both primary and secondary level. I have tutored quite a few 11+ students with a great success in the exams.
Tutoring Approach:
I try to encourage participation into my lessons so that conversation is bi-directional. Children who are more comfortable with their tutor, normally progress faster. I do like to strike a right balance by keeping the learning pressure on by providing assignments while also ensuring that child is having the right interest level
