Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Shaun. I am currently studying Economics Bsc at the University of Birmingham and am in 2nd year. I received A*AB in my A-levels (in Economics Maths Physics respectively). And in my GCSES i received:
Maths - 8
English Language - 7
English Lit - 6
Physics - 8
Biology - 7
Chemistry - 8
DT - 6
Geography - 8
Spanish - 8



Teaching Experience:

I have taught friends and family in Mathematics, Physics and Economics, at many levels including A-level. I have also mentored at my secondary school, Queen Mary's Grammar School with various methods. I ran a club at a local primary school. My mother is a teacher of maths and i believe that from this i know the best techniques to tutor younger students in a more specialised manner.



Tutoring Approach:

At all levels of learning students have to tackle various subjects at once which is difficult. I have learned at both GCSE and A-level the most efficient way to work is through implementing various learning techniques, based on pre-reading and learning, asking me any questions they have and also me teaching difficult concepts in easier ways, practicing and mastering subjects, and then testing them individually to ensure all knowledge is absorbed.
