Information About Caitlin:
Personal Description:
I am a Genetics graduate currently working in a lab in a hospital. I have always been passionate about Science and Maths and love to work through the concepts and challenges these subjects bring. I am a patient, positive and calm person who loves to work with people and have always enjoyed sharing knowledge where I can.
Teaching Experience:
I worked in schools for two years across various roles. These were mostly boarding schools, which gave me a range of experience within education. I have experience with ages 2-13, but have worked with older pupils in various capacities. I often acted as a one-on-one aid for children in the classroom, so I have experience with tailoring content to each pupils individual needs and way of thinking.
Tutoring Approach:
I take a very patient and positive approach to tutoring. I believe everybody learns a bit differently and I'm happy to adapt to what this means for each individual person. The most effective way is for us to work through the content together in a way that makes sense for the pupil to encourage full understanding of the concepts and longer term results.
