I am married with two daughters. I enjoy teaching youngsters, encouraging an enthusiasm for reading and writing. My degree is in Journalism.

Teaching Experience:

I've been a secondary English teacher for more than 6 years now and have worked with young people for 9 years within education. I have taught different exam boards including Eduqas and AQA.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring depends on the individual and what their specific needs are. For example, it may be to prepare for examinations or simply to build confidence within the subject.

I adapt my style of teaching to the student's favoured learning style whilst continually assessing progress.
