Personal Description:
I've been teaching GCSE Science and Maths and A-level Physics for 14 years. I love my subject and always ensure my students get to see the big picture around why we study Physics and Maths as well as getting them ready to tackle their examinations. My degree is Astrophysics so I have a particular interest in Astronomy and Quantum Physics.
Teaching Experience:
I am a physics graduate with 14 years of teacher experience having taught A-level and GCSE physics throughout my career. I am also experienced with 4 years of GCSE and KS3 maths teaching.
Tutoring Approach:
I use a mixture of talking through a topic, questioning my students and past paper examples and practice to ensure a balanced approach to tutoring. I believe in tutee led learning where you choose what you would like to review/study each session. The most important aspect of your study is your own confidence in tackling the questions you will be faced with and so I will always model answers to ensure you see how to tackle each type of question you may be set.
