Personal Description:
I am a calm; approachable, enthusiastic teacher living and working in the Plymouth area. I am 28 years old and graduated from University of St Mark and St John (Marjon) in 2014 with a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree shortly followed in 2015 by a PGCE Primary qualification with qualified teacher status graded outstanding.
Teaching Experience:
I am about to embark on my 5th year as a primary school teacher. I work at a local Plymouth primary school and have experience across both key stages 1 and 2. I am able to support your child with all areas of the primary curriculum.
Tutoring Approach:
I am a highly motivated individual who has a fun but strategic approach to teaching focussing on consolidation of topics already known, whilst building on gaps in knowledge to develop educational confidence! I am engaging and love to teach in a fun loving environment full of respect and laughter! I pride myself on being approachable as it is incredibly important for children to succeed in an empowering learning environment. I will tailor my tutoring to your child's needs and preferences.
