Information About Lily:

Personal Description:

I have just graduated from the University of Bristol with a First Class Honours degree in Physiology (BSc). During my final year I achieved the highest BSc grade within my cohort. Within my degree I specialised in Neuroscience and also covered modules in Biochemistry, Genetics, Cellular and Molecular Medicine and Pharmacology.

Teaching Experience:

During my final year at Bristol I undertook a teaching project, working in a comprehensive secondary school for a year. As part of my project I taught students across all years (7-13) and therefore have a lot of experience teaching KS3, GCSE Biology/Chemistry and A-Level Biology material. I am incredibly enthusiastic about science and particularly love anything Biology related! I can also offer advice on UCAS applications, making revision plans, getting organised and the best way to keep on top of work.

Tutoring Approach:

I have had experience teaching a wide range of abilities, therefore I am able to adapt my teaching style to individual students needs. Students learn best when they are in a relaxed environment and I ensure this is implemented in my teaching sessions by my friendly, kind nature and enthusiasm for my subject. I love to learn myself and this really reflects in my teaching and passion to help others.
