Information About Ash:
Personal Description:
My name is Ash. Having qualified as a Primary School Teacher in 2011, I have experiencing of teaching across both Key Stage 1 and 2 in both state and private schools and preparing students for SATS, 11+ and entrance exams. I believe in making learning fun and relatable to each individual and in turn memorable.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught throughout Cheshire and the northwest in various private and state schools for over 8 years. For over a decade I have also worked in private tutoring on a one to one and group basis. I have prepared children for Sats, 11+ and entrance exams.
I also have experience of working with both high attaining children and children with SEN.
Tutoring Approach:
I am confident teaching any area of the primary curriculum with a particular specialism in maths. I'm also passionate about using technology to enhance the teaching and learning process and if possible would place this at the heart of my teaching.
Prior to the tutoring commencing, I believe it is important to talk with the child to find out what makes them tick and from there develop a way of learning that suits them and enables us to achieve the best outcomes.
Although I'm based in Wilmslow, I'm happy to travel and find a time that suits both parties but most importantly find a time where that suits the individual.
