Personal Description:
32 year old, Ipswich-based qualified school teacher for 9+ years in both primary and secondary education. Experience in Year 1 - Year 13! Specialising in Maths, English, Biology, History, Geography and Psychology!

Teaching Experience:
Teaching for six years in mainstream primary and SEN provisions. Have extensive knowledge of the SATs process and raising pass rates for my school. I have experience of supporting progress with children who are EAL or completely new to English and have taught a child who couldn't read or write at 9 years old who made fantastic progress. Worked with children who have ASD and ADHD as well as working memory difficulties, dyslexia and dyspraxia etc.
Taught KS3, 4 and 5 in the humanities and maths for 4 years.
Tutoring Approach:
Adaptable, relaxed and curriculum focussed with achievable goals and a positive attitude to learning. I can provide resources myself but if there is specific work you would like me to follow then that is fine too!
