Personal Description:

I have nearly 30 years of teaching experience as a biology teacher, and specialise in A level biology.

Teaching Experience:

I have experience in private, adult, college and sixth form college education settings; teaching GCSE, BTEC and degree level biology along side A level biology (and Human Biology).

I have been an A level examiner.

Currently working in a sixth form college, teaching A level biology, where I have been for over 20 years.

Tutoring Approach:

Helping students to understand and then learn topics, so facts can be recalled to help answer the newer application-style questions in the exam. I believe exam question practice is crucial to success at A level, as is understanding the mark scheme, both of which I can provide help with.
