Personal Description:

I am a fully qualified teacher with 7 years of teaching experience, including experience teaching in secondary schools. I completed my PGCE (teaching qualification) at Oxford University, having previously completed my undergraduate studies at the University of St Andrews in German and Philosophy. I am familiar with the current Modern Languages GCSE requirements across the different exam boards (AQA, Edexcel and Edexcel IGCSE), in addition to A Level.

I am also experienced in tutoring English language and literature at Key Stage 3 and GCSE level, and I am skilled at helping pupils develop the skills needed to succeed with the current GCSE specifications, including reading comprehension, writing skills in a variety of styles, spelling, punctuation and grammar, as well as literature.

This is in addition to experience in tutoring 11 Plus English, Maths Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning, and I have an in depth knowledge of requirements for CEM, GL and private school entrance tests across the country.

I have a strong academic record, achieving 9 A* and A grades at GCSE and 3 A grades at A level.
