Personal Description:

I present myself as a simple woman passionate about teaching, who loves her native language and wants to help all those who wish to learn this language.

I am originally from Venezuela. I moved to UK 1 year ago because I wanted to learn English language and I am doing it, therefore I understand fully when we are beginners learning a new language.

Actually, the Spanish language is one of the most popular languages for people to try and learn and according to most estimates, Spanish is the mother tongue of more than 400 million people around the globe, which equates to approximately six percent of the world's population.

As a result, it is officially recognised as the second most commonly spoken language, when measured by native speakers, ranking ahead of English.

It has official language status in 20 different countries and more than 550 million people speak Spanish with at least some degree of competence. In addition, it is the most popular second language choice for people in the United States and is spoken as either a first or second language by 15 percent of all residents in the European Union.

In terms of its popularity, Spanish shows no signs of slowing down, with the total number of speakers increasing steadily over the past decade. A recent report published by the British Council ranked Spanish as the most important second language for British citizens to learn, placing it ahead of French, Arabic and Mandarin.

The language sounds beautiful, is widely used and has a number of other benefits, which combine to make it one of the stand out options available.

Teaching Experience:

Although I have experience teaching other subjects, it is only 1 year ago when I started teaching my native language, just for fun and doing what I love to do.
It has been the best decision of my life.
It is a wonderful path where I learn from each student and teach them at once.

Tutoring Approach:

My main aim is to help students communicate as quickly as they can in Spanish just ensuring them as much repetition as possible through role playing using activities.
The lessons are planned around the teaching concept known as "Activity Stacking" and of course teaching people how to get to the level they want to get to..
Most of people who want to learn Spanish do so because they want to be able to hold a simple conversation (communicate) at a basic level whilst they are on Holidays.
