Personal Description:
I'm a reliable individual who takes the time to get to know children personally so that I am able to ensure that they are catered for correctly. I want to make a difference & help children achieve their goals.
Teaching Experience:
I have 10 years teaching experience across Year 3 - Year 6 and have worked with a range of different needs that have been individually catered for & raised attainment of.
Tutoring Approach:
I initially start off with an assessment to provide a basis to which areas are needed to be a key focus. I then split the allocated sessions into a list of objectives to ensure that the area/s which required work are fully addressed. At the end of my tutoring block, the same assessment which was completed at the start of the session will be completed to allow the child in question to develop a sense of pride & achievement in being able to now answer those questions.
All sessions are fully supportive & interactive, with the use of resources & ICT when required.
Homework can be provided from the tutoring session if requested by parents.
10% discount will be applied when block sessions booked and paid in advance.
