Information About Rebecca:
Personal Description:
Hello my name is Rebecca. I am a language enthusiast and have been studying French and Spanish from age 11. I've spent a year studying at a French University and I've just returned from a year living and working as an English language assistant in southern Spain. I graduated University in 2016 with a 2.1 honours degree in French and Spanish with a distinction in both spoken French and Spanish. This year I will continue my studies as I am starting my masters in translation at Queens University Belfast. I also have a good bit of experience in teaching and it is something which I enjoy, I am very keen to help anyone improve their language skills and could help anyone from general Key stage 3 through to a university undergraduate student. I came top in Northern Ireland at A level Spanish so I would hope that this will help make me a good tutor for anyone taking A level languages. In general, I am very passionate about my subjects and hope to plan and deliver fun lessons that will help my students achieve the grades they want.
Teaching Experience:
I have previous experience teaching in Spain, working with children aged 3-11 on both a one to one basis and teaching my own class. I have also worked as an English summer camp councillor on various Summer camps in Spain, with both younger children and teenagers.
Tutoring Approach:
I have previous experience tutoring children and adults in Spain. Whilst living in Cádiz I tutored a lot of my student s privately at their homes and also tutored a few of the teachers to help them pass Cambridge English exams. I have worked with a wide range of people and understand that one teaching method doesn't work for every student.
